My car (94) is getting a refresh (I hope!) as we speak. I told him it was an r134 system but he left me a voice mail to say he thinks it's an R12 system. Ah, NO, it's an 134 system...

someone already mentioned that 92 was the last year for the R12 which I think is correct. If your tag is missing, one way to tell which system you have is by the shape of the condensor. The r12 is rounded off at the top and the 134 is square.  I just hope the guy calls me back before he dumps alot of ($$$) R12 in there...
