Morning, all-

Just wanted to share a quick tidbit: My battery decided to give up the 
ghost the other morning.   I discovered that the old battery (Diehard) 
had probably been in the car for 9 years (depending on how long it sat 
on the shelf...) Who'da thought it'd last that long?

I was surprised, but not enough to purchase another one from Sears 
($115, and 4 in stock).  After a round of phone calls on a saturday, 
who do you think had a quality one in stock and at a competitive price? 
No, not autozone or any of the other FLAPs.  I purchased an Interstate 
battery from the dealer, of all people,  for 82 bucks.

This whole thing blew me away, and made me realize that in today's 
market - everyone's got to be careful on pricing, including the dealer. 
  They might not always be more expensive, and I need to remember that 
when I'm in need of stuff.  Anyway, just thought I'd share some useless 
info, and give props to my local stealer...
