Hi Guys,
I wish to thank all that helped me with me gas lines issues. Problem is
fixed under $450 for new lines up to the steel hard lines at the back door.
Lessons learned:
1.MT Motorsports may be the last honest mechanic in Northern Virginia
2. cost to fix under $500 versus $2600 from dealer
3. under car hard lines and fuel pump were good per mechanic after
inspection even though I asked for both to be replaced. Savings about $600
4. Best of all, mechanic was able to replace all lines from the fuel pump
WITHOUT lowering the fuel tank and differential. Somehow he managed to cut
the tape and connectors holding the old lines to the fuel tank and snake the
new lines in those very tight spaces down to the hard lines at the bottom of
the car. If any are interested I will get the details.
5. BT is a speed shop that does some really fancy, intricate speed fixes on
our and other type cars.
