S-hedz,
I have an intermittant stumble/stutter that is proving elusive to pin
down. Most often, it acts and feels like a cylinder has dropped out.
Very similar to last summer's POS channel failure except that it does
not stick around long enough to raise the hood and try to isolate a
cylinder. Usually only appears with a warm engine. Seems to clear
itself in short order. Sometimes I downshift to change RPM's.
Sometimes a quick couple of pedal presses does it.
I have a spare POS, new in box in case it is that, but I am not yet
convinced. Just put in new plugs and plug connectors to see if that
would fix it. No go. It also doesn't appear to be related to high
boost conditions, so I am not thinking a coil. Could a failing fuel
pump exhibit these conditions? How would you best test the health of
the fuel pump.
Inquiring minds want to know.
