[s-cars] Removing/installing springs

I'd really rather do it myself, if I could.  But I'm guessing, from the
reading that I've done, that it's not as simple as some folks like to
imagine.  I can see the need for a spring compressor (renting or borrowing
might be an option there), but then there's the issue of the front
suspension disassembly that requires stuff to be pressed out, then pressed
back in upon reassembly?!?

Or is Bentley just giving me one of those "disassemble half the car to pull
out the ashtray" sorts of things?

Anybody got some quick-n-dirty method of *just swapping springs?*
