[s-cars] Anyone used Sears for front-end alignment?

Many moons ago I used them exclusively for my Scirocco without any issues.
As anywhere, it all depends on the tech though. If they give a rip then all
is well. I don't know what Sears' current policy might be, but I tend to
shy away from shops that do not allow me to be out there with the tech.

The thick and thin of it is that you are in a bind and need to get it done.
At least Sears is national so any issues could be dealt with at a local
Sears. If you do find a privately run shop in Maine and develop issues
en-route wel... I would use Sears if'n I were you.

Subject: [s-cars] Anyone used Sears for front-end alignment?

hey listers,

anyone ever used Sears to align an S6 and have anything to say about
it? I hear they have really high-end equipment and got a pretty good
rec. from a mechanic i trust w/ my car 100%. i just need the front-
end done as they were replaced *very* recently and do not want to
drive back to DC from Maine w/o it being done.

looking for an alignment to be done in a pinch w/:
- just front end
- 4th July weekend
- quickly.

any thoughts?

Sincerely,

matt ludwig.
1995.5 S6 Avant
