Ebay used to have a seller that advertised fake FMICs... nice shiny looking core, with hoses going nowhere.  Maybe that'd do the trick?

Been looking to upgrade my intercooler, more for looks than performance
though.  I like the looks of the FMIC's and wanted to know if there is a
specific brand that works well with our cars.

Also, who makes the hoses needed to tie into the factory connections?
