Hap does have a propensity for da bling... and I know I like looking at it.  The Treadstone IC that I told you about is delivered already polished, and now costs $189 on ebay.  I know it performs well to well over 400 wheel hp.
 
Also, from experience, I can tell you that after less than a year on the road, any polish on the IC end caps will have a nice sandblasted look from normal road debris... FWIW.
