[s-cars] A Visit from Uncle Bob

S-Heads,

I was fortunate enough to catch up with Uncle Bob this morning
here in Maryland. He was picking up a used 3B for one of his
projects from the local wrench I and others here use, Suni.

He was kind enough to let me test drive his Avant before
loading the 3B into the back.  I returned the favor and then
he offered to swap his ECU into mine as well as another ECU he
had just laying around with the Lehmann software.  That's
rich, he had a spare ECU and this monstrosity Wastegate from a
930 turbo, plus a 3B engine and wiring harness in the pig.
Another great advantage of the wagons (he didn't even need to
renove the intake, it cleared)!

I didn't much care for the Lehmann version, but part of that
may have been due to the fact that my coils started to act up
at the end of the third session of flogging.  

After a few Pizzo stories and measuring the plethora of spare
transmissions in Suni's shop I had to take off for work so I
can afford the next mod.  It was an example of the good fun to
be had with some of you nuts, even with out alcohol. 

I also was fortunate to have my ignition switch go south on me
(117,000 miles).
