  Yes... in the past, I've lost electrode tips... but never the entire post.  Every time it could be attributed to a short lean run period.  I've got a wideband, and I have my mixture set pretty fat right now.  Perhaps on the trip home I will put the #4 injector into a different cylinder, to see if the problem changes cylinders... if it happens at all.

Dave,

My guess is that you're running into a serious lean mixture on cylinder #4,
which is why you're chewing up the spark plugs in that cylinder only.

Check that fuel injector.
