I forgot about brakes- I would highly recommend bringing a spare set of
brake pads as well as fluid. If you inadvertently smoke your brakes, you'll
have a spare set and fluid in case you need to bleed the brakes.

I did this at the Glen- cooked my brakes on the 2nd to last lap of a
session, pedal nearly went to the floor at the end of the front straight,
had to bleed the brakes and inspect the pads for the last session- called it
a day after a full system bleed (my pads were nearly done).

With the heavy Audis, you really should have at least a high-performance pad
that is relatively new for a track day- you'll go through street pads
awfully fast. And high-temp brake fluid flushed the day before you go to the
track.

For pads- Hawk HPS, HP Plus; Porterfield R4S; Pagid 4-2-1 Black; etc.

For fluid-  Valvoline synthetic; Ate Super Blue/Type 200; Motul 600; AP 550;
Castrol SR-F; etc.

If you decide to buy a helmet, make sure it fits correctly- you need to go
to a place that will either properly fit you for a helmet or you need to go
with someone who knows how to fit you. The correct helmet size will feel
awfully tight until you get used to it.
