I've had experience with both of these tires. The 512s were on my wife's 
Bilstein HD/H-Sport sway bar equipped A6 4.2. They were excellent in the rain and 
OK in the dry. I ran the MXs on my car with the BBS CHs I had in 235/40-18. 
They were fabulous in the dry and OK in the rain. The turn-in in dry surfaces 
approached my 255/40-17 Victoracers. I would, therefore, recommend you get the 
Kumhos hands down.
