Oh, contrare Kemosabe.  
I'm at lake level (180+/- meters) with no issues for about 30 mos. now.
I did have some pinging when first set up but this was quickly and easily
fixed by taking out der RS2 FPR and returning to stock.  Head gasket
replacement a year ago showed no detonation damage.
WOT pulls are smooth w/o a hitch to redline.  To quote an unsolicited recent
passenger comment "holy shiza, there's not many cars that push you back in
the seat from 65mph." ... and I wasn't even trying.
I run a heavier spring but like everything else it's all measured but my
buttOmeter, which like my car could explode at any given moment;)
