[s-cars] The front brake upgrade grinds forward...

Eric,

This is the first time I've ever seen the word "Europrice" used in such
close proximity to the word "scam." Alex is widely known and very well
regarded in the Audi community. I would not hesistate for a second to hand
him a bunch of money in exchange for the promise of future parts. It's
unfortunate to see him moving away from the older cars, but his business has
gone from a teenager's basement hobby to his bread and butter, so I can
understand his need to evolve. We will see if anyone has any success
filling the void he will leave. If Alex says he can get the brackets, he
can get the brackets. If you don't have a bona fide alternative, order from
Europrice.

Good luck with the brake upgrade. I took the easy way out and bought a
kit. I admire those with the patience and deligence to build the upgrade
one piece at a time.

So, after having some discussion with folks on- and off-list, I have
come to some conclusions:

2.) Getting RS2 brackets has been a bit of a challenge. Europrice is
not going to do them anymore unless you pre-pay for them now - and
they'll get just as many as they have pre-pays for, and no more.
Then, after they send all those out, they're not going to do pre-'96
stuff any more.

I'm not sure I like those kinds of terms. I've been a victim of the
pre-purchase scam before - they have my money for months, and there's
not a damn thing I can do about it once my credit card's 30-day limit
is up.
