[s-cars] The front brake upgrade grinds forward...

There's a place in the U.K., that ships to the U.S. (and everywhere
else, so it seems), that sells them for about $171/set, shipped. If
you act soon, Europrice is ordering a set from Europe (for the last
time, apparently) and if you pre-purchase, they'll get you a set,
shipped to your door, for about $178. That's the latest I have. I
understand that other sources are possible, I just haven't checked
them out yet.

Yes, hats and rotors can be quite spendy. BIRA hats for System 5 are
on the order of $450 a set. Then you have to pop for $190/pair 993TT
rotor rings. That's right in there with the caliper cost. It just so
happens that RS2 brackets, 993TT calipers, and the BIRA hats all work
together. BTW, the Porsche rings are 322x32mm.

As of this moment, this is the set-up I'd like to do. But it is ~$400
more expensive than the other route, which is 323x30 A8 rotors with
the same calipers and brackets.

But hey, if you've got some RS2 brackets you don't need, I'll be happy
to buy them.
