I have Nokian WR's on my LR disco, I live in Vermont and it handles Dirt
Roads and Snow very well.

It's a good all around tire that is quiet and offers great traction.  I am a
big Nokian fan, I run Studded Hakka 2's on my other cars, including the UR
S6.

Hi Y'all,

It looks like it's about time for new tires for the better half's '95 
droF Ranger 4x4 PeeCup.

Her driving habits would not be described as "aggressive" or even 
"enthusiastic".  Her driving is probably 99+% on the highway and a 
very little amount of off-road crap crawling (mostly mine during 
hunting season).  Generally, if there is much snow on the roads she 
will simply stay home (being retired has its advantages) or take the 
urS6 (oh, I guess there is some Audi content ;-)) but on occasion it 
is necessary to get the Ranger out in the white stuff.  Do you have 
any recommendations or suggestions as to a tire with a good 
compromise considering wet/dry traction, noise, durability, handling, 
price, etc, for year around use?  The OEM tire size is 235/75R15.
