Yes, WRs come in a V rating- we have them on the V70R- great tire- halfway
decent handling in the dry with a loss of steering response, relatively low
noise, good ride, good wet performance, good snow performance (but not
awesome). This is compared to the OEM Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires that are
the summer tires for the car.

I like the WRs a lot- I never used them as a year-round tire, but they're
great for cold weather.

Every trip I've had to Colorado (all wintertime) has included a snowstorm,
so I guess my impressions of Colorado are not representative- either that,
or Denver's weather is much milder than further west. I had a really scary
time on all-seasons on I-70.
