I guess we disagree slightly on what constitutes "special order". 
Since Alex is now out of the pre-'96 business, anything that is for
those cars now becomes "special order".  I'm totally OK with that.  My
personal business habits do not imply that his are shady, underhanded
or even unfair.  I'd explain further, but the tale is long, boring and
wouldn't convince anyone of anything.

For the record (again), I have no doubts (none) that Alex is a decent
guy to do business with.  End of story.
