Most of the new high powered 1/2 impacts are very thirsty for air and will
perform worse than low powered guns if air supply is low. Type M or T quick
disconnect couplers won't cut it AT ALL. I had the same problem with my
CP Turbo 2.0. Its a 600+ ft-lb gun and I couldn't get lugnuts off that were
easy by hand. I changed to Milton Type V "Hi=Flow" ( the only HF option I
found for 1/4 NPT). It still accepts your old Type M nipples as well. If you
point your eyeball down inside the coupler you'll see what the "Hi-Flow" is
all about. Those tiny 1" bodied regulators that come with home use
compressors won't fly either. Next I found the biggest challange for it I
could find, an Audi I5 crank balancer bolt with red loctite. Zipped it out
of there like it was an M8 fastener. I have yet to find anything it won't
remove, and I've tried! So like your 20vt its about the flow not just the
PSI.
Bye for now
Todd
