That is a good read... sounds like a good list to be on.
When choosing between these 2 turbos, remember this: The compressor side
is exactly the same of these 2 turbos... in other words, they will move the
same volume, and at the same efficiency... IF you get the right compressor.
There is only one trim available on the 3071 (56)... but there are 3 trims
available for the 2871 (48, 52, and 56). Make sure you know what you're
getting... a 2871 isn't just a 2871.
I would suggest that if you get the 2871, that you get the 56 trim unit.
The key difference between the 2 units is the size of the turbine wheel.
The 2871's is smaller, and will provide a quicker hit. But it will also die
off quicker at higher rpm, as the exhaust flow is more choked.
