Some good DC area shops for Audis. I've dealt with all of them because of my affiliation with the Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter of ACNA, but have been happy with their service.

The Auto Shop (www.theautoshop.us) in Sterling, VA: Carl Epstein is the owner and primary tech. Does quality work and is honest. Nice guy too. Great for general maintenance on most cars, but he get a lot of Audi and BMW work through the Audi Club and BMWCCA. He's worked on my former urS4 and I still take the urQ and Tundra to him for alignments and things I can't do or don't have time to do. Good rate for the area at $85/hour, at least that's what it was at the end of last year.

Induktion Motorsports (www.4induktion.com) in Hanover, MD: Ed Fuhrman, the owner is an enthusiast who decided he wanted to open shop a few years ago. They're really good with later model Audis, VWs, and Porsches, but also work on Bimmers. They've been helping me out with the A4 race-car and have been great. Hourly rate is only $75/hour.

FunKtion Auto in Dulles, VA (www.funktionauto.com): New shop that just opened also by an enthusiast. Lead tech is Tim Cobean a very popular Audi and Porsche tech in the area. They are doing most of the work on my AAN-urQ conversion. A bit more expensive then the other places, but it's an amazing facility.

And, Road and Track. I've never personally used Suni and his dad because of geographic location, but have stopped by their shop a few times after hitting Radial Tire around the corner. A number of friends have used him and have been very happy with his service.
