Well, I guess that is second to getting kicked out. I'll take it!!!
<<<REALISTICALLY>>>, there was nothing Bob, Mike, Serge, Frank, or I did
to the RS4 that should have created any issue. Serious. OK, aside
*maybe* from running the lap @ the limiter (which was so unintrusive
and overprotective it was really a non-event), our runs were likely
SMOOTHER than basically everyone there as, well, we have a clue how to
drive.
We can't help if they show up with no replacement tires for what was
said to be 3,000 people running through the event over the 2 days. And
that they elected to put up a timer (timer was only on RS4 course btw).
We didn't make the rules, just lived up to them 8-). What do they
expect??? Poorly planned poorly organized. Shooting for FTD *was fun*
tho tee heee. Oh, and, that black car was parked BEFORE we ran, yes.
Re ran red and silver ones.
Baloney called me from his letdown event out in Chicago Sat. reporting
the same thing. Our reputation proceeds itself I guess? He aimed to
retaliate by eating so much he got kicked out.
D'oh.
Believe me, you didn't miss 'that much'. An Underwhelming Event. Even
the dozen press kits we got turned out to basically blow.
Instead, be sure to hit up your local BMW Tit Event (Susan B. Koman
Drive) for shenanigans. I'm running the 650Ci and 550i tomorrow @ lunch
with a handful of Fools. Should be entertaining, that one they just
chuck you the keys and say see you in 20 minutes. Big D'OH, we always
'enjoy' that one.
Gotta run, I need to recon the local jumps in the area along the
prescribed route before tomorrow.

Oh my GOD it is your fault.
So now it all makes sense.
I showed up to the event at Belmont Park on the day after for what I
thought would be engaging as you seemed to have experienced and was
kinda disappointed.
Lets start with things got to do. Test Drive Q7, got to road course was
instructed by Audi escort guy who was driving with me to take it on the
autocross. Ran a lap and parked it then Audi escort guy...escorted me to
test drive a competeting brand or audi, I chose to go in A8 on the
course. Drove the course with the escort in passenger seat. Finished my
run no timers or the like about. Asked if I can drive another car he
said nope only Q7 and one additional. Audi escort then escorted me back
to the Q7 and to the club house. He then punched a hole in my badge.
Another Q7 shuttled me back to the track to since I am eligible to
"ride" in RS4. Why I could stay at track no idea.
Oh yes thanks to you guys they are only doing hot laps with the audi
instructor it was like a great adventure line (long wait for short
ride). Talked to the instructor and he told me some story about how that
he could not dirft as much because he had eaten through the tires on the
day before and they did not have spares. The hot lap was still fast no
timers in sight so I have not idea.
Checked the tires on the black one that was parked supposedly since the
day before massive chunks missing on outward thread.
So to recap saturday you guys went there flogged the cars so much they
hired extra staff to escort people about and the driving the rs4 turned
into riding in the rs4. They did mention that on saturday there were 2
hour waits for the cars, I would have waited 2 hours to drive rs4 by
myself......

Thanks Dad
