I know I know. The good news is that if you do all this work, you'll know
it's been done, and done right.

There's one on ebay now, an S6 sedan. Don't know anything else about it.

Sounds like your car might be a good track car, or a project for someone who
enjoys rebuilding them...but if it's solid, don't part it out!
