Nice write up Scott. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new RS4 will be
received, particularly by a dye-in -the-wool, don't take my turbo away crowd
such as the UrS4 listers. IMO, and I've been lucky enough to have 6 full
track days in a couple on both the Nordschleif as a couple of Formula 1
tracks, its well....... not a UrS4/6
OTOH it is however, a very, very, very quick car. I didn't think it would
have been in contention as a possible car choice ~ I was expecting the US
base price to be in the mid to high 70's putting it in the too much $$$ for
the bang column, but now I see reports MSRP base pricing is to be @ $66k,
which means I may have to re-think that proposition.
Still can't see to get through to the S-List for some reason. I was looking
to post a general inquiry about list experience, if any, and general
opinions re Porsche's (or any other mfg's) ceramic brake systems. see e.g,

problems, or am I just being Pizzo'ed?
No Audi content per se, but...... In considering future possible automotive
options, has anyone got any good information, or comparative data etc. on
the pros &/or cons of ceramic braking systems? e.g.
http://www.europeancarweb.com/tech/0406ec_brakes/index.html
Any lister's with experience with the ceramic systems? or informed opinion
about the pros & cons thereof? In the same vein, views/opinion's on the
Cayman as a choice vs. some version of the 997 or other alternative?
Thanks
