Like I said before, the Z4 M Coupe is the most interesting car I saw at the
NY Auto Show this year.

That is a car I'd get from BMW, even though it's got the uglified Bangle
styling.

Even with the 220hp old 3.0L engine, the Z4 has got serious legs- I was
rather surprised at the acceleration
capability, following one in the STi. Unfortunately, the STi really runs out
of gearing at about 120.... either that,
or the drag from the huge wing and hood scoop start really slowing the car
down.

The reports of the Z4 Coupe's performance are such that the Porsche Cayman
might be in some serious
trouble when the Z4 M is out- the 'Ring lap times attest to that.
