If you pull the instrument cluster, you can install a new one. 
Clair will do a core exchange for you for about $400 or so.

Think about installing a Concert radio and a PhatBox. Total cost 
will be about $300, and it will look completely stock. You also 
won't have to change the speakers and amplifiers...
