Just like Taka said... I think those who were invited had Audi cars about to retire from the warranty program, much like my wifes 02 Allroad. Little did they know i had just traded the AR in on an 06 Jetta TDI, loaded cept for Nav. :-) Pending a decent AWD Audi with a hearty but not thirsty diesel, the jetta made the best sense at this time. Anyway, the dealer folks were a little upset that they weren't invited themselves. The event however was top notch, with lots of staff to point you in the right direction. Flogging an A8l around an autocross course was only second in fun next to riding in a wailing RS4. Gawd i need to start saving my pennies!!
