[s-cars] RS4 test drive, wowieee!!!

I got into the 'buy-jetta' kick a little late, so the pickings weren't as good as they were a few months back. I had initially wanted a DSG, but they couldn't find one with Sirius satellite radio, only XM. As a stockholder of sirius, I gave up on DSG and went for a 5 speed that had it. Besides, in talking to a local tuner who did wonders on my 03 Golf TDI (270# torque and better fuel mileage than stock when not hard into the throttle :-) he rather not tune a DSG equipped TDI anyway. Yes, it is the latest incarnation of the Jetta, the Corolla looking one.

  That's kind of funny- the dealership people go to those ride and drive events at racetracks and they're pissed that they couldn't go to this event?!?

  The only thing I regret about not working at a dealership now is that I will not have a chance to do the RS4 ride and drive- then again, the management would have probably screwed me on that opportunity as well. 

  Did you get a DSG or conventional manual TDI? That's the A5 chassis car, right?
