[s-cars] '92 Fuel Pump Replacement Guidance

Hi,
I'm going to have to replace my fuel pump in my '92.  

Did I hear that Dave F. did a detailed writeup on this?  Can anyone give me guidance as to how to replace it?  Also, I unfortunately do not have the special tools (3087 & 3024)...and hope to do the job without them.  Who has done this without having the tools...and can I get some additional pointers from someone who has done this?

I'd love a detailed write-up...but don't know if one exists (haven't found one yet).
