  Sorry to hear about the Turbo. If there has been shaving of the housing on
the intake (compressor) side I may be stating the obvious but be sure to
remove the intercooler and flush it well. At least the intercoolers work as
a fairly good air filter to keep some of the particles out of the engine.
I'm thinking about going with the 2871 over my T04E for a little quicker
spool up. How about everyone with a Garrett ball bearing Turbo chime in with
miles on Turbo and reliability? I have a older Garrett ball bearing Turbo on
my Porsche 944T with good luck but it is my track car with fairly low miles.
But in the past the Garrett Ball bearing Turbos had a reliability reputation
problem. I'm hoping the newer 3071 and 2871's have solved this.  MGH
