Lee,
You're right... but I guess I leaped to the assumption that if one were to install the lights, they would be going to higher wattage bulbs. I 'spose that's a decision Bob will need to make.

If he's not running upgraded bulbs there's no need for a harness.
On the three C4 cars I upgraded, it absolutely was plug and play.
It takes about 8 minutes to remove the trim and the headlamps, and another
12 to install the new lamps.
That's if you know the trick for the lower trim. Remove the philips head
screw on the inboard side, then pull the trim towards the center of the car
(after removing the cover for the washer).
Installation is the reverse of disassembly :)
