If you're referring to the Rotella as "not great oil," I'd like to know what you're basing your comment on.  I work extensively in the Fleet Management field, and Rotella oils, both synthetic and mineral based, repeatedly beat out the competition in service capabilities in heavy equipment (large displacement turbocharged diesels).  These are real tests, not hearsay.

It's not great oil, but it's cheap.  I would recommend using Elf 
products instead.
