Nathan-
I can't agree with your assessment- where do you see that Mobil 1 is "not
rated for turbos?"
Also, in the UrS cars, the VW spec that you reference came much later-
regular Mobil 1 is fine. In the much later cars with much tighter tolerances
and engines spec'd for much lighter oil for fuel efficiency purposes, you
will
need the 505.02 stuff. Also, for cars under warranty.
