Or you could just buy the Alpine Full Speed Head Unit + Cable for $230 and
not have to deal with annoying sound quality from the FM modulator, not have
to worry about your iPOD battery going dead or a multiple interface into the
iPOD to charge the battery as well.  You get the song titles, albums, etc.
viewable on the head unit.  All depends on how much time you are prepared to
spend to negate an expenditure of $230.  Now, if it's just because you enjoy
the challenge...well then knock yourself out :)

I'm working on a "real" integration project for iPod. It will have
microcontroller based interface that will translate CD Changer commands from
HU to iPod and back.

Have everything ready(parts/research), just don't have time.

I have Gamma CC unit and planning on making support for 10 playlists (1 for
each disk)
