[s-cars] Rough running, what could it be?

Did the fuel pump possibly come loose somehow? Was this the same reason why
the fuel pump was installed? If so, then I would say it probably isn't the
fuel pump. If this is new since the fuel pump then it may be the FP. What
about the MAF?

Request for help (see below), it sounds like the Fuel pump is dying...
but I suggest testing the injectors by disconnecting them one at a time
first and seeing the effect.
What does the list wisdom say? John is copied.
Cheers, /Jamu.

Subject: Can you ask the list for me?
Hey james,
can you ask the list regarding my car problems:
1. Car struggling big time to get up to above 3000 RPM, at any gear but
never stalled. Like it is short on gas. Once get past 3000 rpm, runs
better but still has some jerking motions
2. Idle is not stable, going from 800 rpm to 1000 rpm and back
Recently replaced all 5 plugs and added a new oil change using 5-40
castrol Syntec. A new fuel pump was installed a few months ago. But
recently heard a thump in the back everytime I started up the car. I
think I heard the fuel pump starting up.
Starting is no problem and there is no black smoke.
Thanks james.
Later,
J.
