You could use a non-synthetic for storage, but make sure you
change the oil back to synthetic before you drive it next year.

And Yes to the stabilizer. I'd also run the car for a few minutes
afterwards, to get the stabilized gas into the lines.

I'd also put the battery on a Battery Tender or smart trickle
charger, to keep it charged.  You can get one most anywhere you
can get car parts. I got a Black&Decker model at Wal-Mart for
about $20.
