Tony;
Are you sure it's the window causing the noise? I've found the noise is
usually from a poor fit between the door frame and the car body at the rear
top edge of the drivers door. You can check this by pulling the top of the
door inward while it is whistling - if the tone changes the door needs
adjustment. As Chris pointed out, the window carrier can be adjusted to
improve the fit of the door and eliminate the whistle.
