[s-cars] Rear door locks (Was - Auto Check System & door/ligh ts chime)

I second Steve's motion. I believe (haven't the owner's manual handy) that
there
are little lever's on the underside of the latches on the door itself.

It's a bit disturbing that they operate in this fashion. Most child locks
allow the doors to open
from the outside as long as the car is unlocked in case of emergency.
