A few tips,
Don't forget the center bolts, you need to use a socket to get them off ,
two I think.
I think the gasket goes over the top of the camshaft sprocket. It is all
very obvious when you remove the cover. The half moons fill in a hole on
the back side of the cover near the firewall. It looks like the hole was
once used for a distributor in older designs. Use a few very small dabs of
silicone sealant around the moons and other seams to make sure you have no
leaks.

Subject: [s-cars] Valve Cover Gasket
What is required to be removed to replace the valve cover gasket? I am
looking at the gasket now and trying to figure out how the camshaft sprocket
is sealed where it exits the valve cover. Also, is this where the 2 blue
"half moons" go? It appears as though there is a large half moon shaped
piece in the gasket itself as well. Thanks.
