[s-cars] plus one choices

Wylie,

I'm running 245-40-17 on 17x8.5 ET 35s on my S6. It's lowered with
2Bennett Coilovers all around. My only issues are in reverse - I get
slight tire rub only on my mud flaps, and going forward at full lock,
I'll just barely rub the inner fender plastic. I know the size I'm
running is not quite the same as you are looking at but is a point of
reference for you.

HTH,

Paul
95 S6

Hi Folks,
Looking at a +1 setup for the 92 S4. Found a set of 17x8 Et 35s but they're
mounted with 245-45-17 which I know isn't the absolute correct tire size for
a +1 fitment on these cars. Anyone running that size and if so, are there
any fitment issues with suspension, fenders? Right now it's stock, but I
*might* consider changing the springs to H&R or something similar at some
point. My struts are very tired, so it's hard to say if I'd be generally
satisfied with the car's ride by just changing them, or if I should go
springs and struts too.
