HID kits are for off-road use, of course, the same off-road the Escalade,
Navigator, Cayenne and the such have been designed for ;-)
About Daniel Stern's article, he states that a projector design would be
focused whatever the light source! Can't be more wrong. Just change the
light source position or shape and you'll lose the focus. Anyone with a
light background in optic will now that. Even 9006s from different brands
change the focus.
I would take the entire article with a very large grain of salt, as he seems
to use the same gimmick as marketers: take a little truth, amplify it until
it says what you want, seasoned with you preferred flavour of not so true
and serve warm. Exactly what this article seems to be.

Good info if you read the whole thing... not to mention these kits are
illegal. Question is, why are sales of such illegal kits allowed to
continue?
