Ah yes, Bruce and his bro in law both have sedans right now. Small
world.
Amen on the black - the platinum ***does not*** wear well in the
multiple examples I've seen. At all. Thinner leather, softer, and
notably softer cushioning is what I've noted oddly enough.
Tom, you girling out on Fri. and wallowing in your I Just Sold One Of
The Nicest Sedans Out There For Silly Reasons misery???? Inquiring
mindz. Could join me & Rossato tho I'd have to pull a kid seat for ya
out of der //S8, be good to catch up. Steve, Jim P., Jeff P., Mike P.,
me, etc. Bish. Peter?

IIRC, it was Bruce Truax's brother-in-law that made the trip down from
New England but ended up passing on the avant. I think he posted a
comment here a week or so ago. Selling price was $8k but the guy had
other offers after agreeing to hold it so the price went up. In the end
the car was not as described.
IMHO, the nicest thing about Steve's car is that not only is it
Cashmere, but it has black interior, which I vastly prefer to the
platinum.

Knew it knew it knew it which was why I had to shame you. Do yourself a
flavor and get some hi rez shots of it looking like it DOES and then let
the critics eat crow. You dork!
AW - say no more. The D2 forum does contain some fine gentlemen, some
foolz (Baloney / meself / Edweirdo / Super Keith) and is a wealth of
info so that much is good. Little dry at times and needs some
peppering, I do my damnest of course...
And, ODD, go figure there are THREE cashmere / black Avants, 2 in MD and
yours in NY. The //SFest one from Len's was lowered with DIFFERENT
Borbet's (6 spoke) or some better named wheel maybe. Just purty.
