[s-cars] RS2 sighting - again

Chris,

Rumor has it the car was brought into the US for "research" while Alcoa 
was developing the body for the A8 and that the car was to be deported 
or crushed after the "research" was completed in 3 years.  Ten years 
later, its driving around with valid plates and inspection stickers.  
Who knows how that happened.  Maybe it was registered as a 90?  It shows 
up from time to time at the local Audi/Porsche dealer.

I've never had the chance to talk with the gentleman but I see him 
driving it from time to time over the past few years.  He lives about 10 
miles from me.

Next time you've got to ask him how he got that thing into the country!  I
looked into importing an RS2, seems to be nearly impossible with the current
regulations.
