VinnieBgood,

Obviously obvious make sure your remote battery is really providing 3.3V +/-
IIRC.

Be sure to clean the triangular metal contacts that complete the circuit
that are UNDER the black rubber convex / concave buttons.  After 11 years of
never being cleaned they do get versmootched up from all the gunk in your
pockets (no need to share here;)

Also whenst programming make sure you press and hold both buttons until
something happens though I forget exactly what.

Lights flash, a beep, the lock pops up, or any combination thereof.
