So, 

I need a winter car.  The way the search usually starts is, "what can I get fer cheap"?, which eventually ends up like "wonder what used S8's are running"? 8-)

A buddy I work with has a couple of Cayanes (sp?). He claims they are the deal of the century right now. Dealers are giving them away,
lots are full of em, leftovers are dirt cheap and used are rediculous. <you know where this is going>  I was actually kicking the idea around and even stopped to look a used one over recently.... then today my buddy stopped in to chat and I asked how his were running.
He told me he had just gotten his Cayane "S" back from the dealer. (I didn't know it was at the dealer) The "S" has the hydraulic suspension and his had a problem. Dealer was having a problem isolating the issue. After replacing the $4k compressor ! AND 45hrs of labor @$120/hr he says it's running great!  <thud>   don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of problems with my Audis but COME ON!
