As Dave (to now the third power) Flagg noted, //S8's have fallen ***out
of the sky*** in the past 6 months.  No way those online asking all
those dollars for them will get that - dreamers.  Definitely wayway
under book right now.  Dunno why, no one wants them.  Misunderstood
vehicle I guess.  Think that CO car looks positively inexpensive Dave,
have a peek at what they're doing @ auction.  Must be nauseating to be a
seller!

Sure is a LOT of car for the $$$ tho.  And even the pundits are being
swayed - my buddy Brian was driving one yesterday and called me
exclamating "I take back *all* I previously said about these not being
worth the premium over an A8...   short of the RS6 THIS is THE best Audi
I've ever driven - all my preconceptions are OUT the window - this is an
amazing machine and the tranny rocks - car out handles and outperforms
my UrS all day".  

Coming from the man who pilots a tuned GT2, etc., that's pretty good
feedback.  So much so he's likely making new effort to move his '95.5
RS2'd UrS6 to make way for one, I know of one lister looking at his
likely soon (MUwhahahaa to him).  Bruce and Edweirdo here are two that
have made the jump thus far.  Wunder who's next 8-).

On the C5 //S6 Avant front, they appear to be holding ground a bit
better.  Tho the one Dave notes above seems to be a heck of a deal.
But, Avant aside, I still think the //S8 is entirely more car, and
cooler, IMO of course.
