Esteemed wisemen:

What's her face asked what I want for upcoming anniversary (8!) / xmas /
bday, and I retorted a V1.  She suggested looking on ebay to defray the
POONING.  I'm not a big ebay'er, esp. for electronics.  

Any pitfalls / advice?  Most seem to hover in the $250 range, but some
new go up into mid 4's, which is more than one from them direct which is
WTF odd.
