I use the Bio-Cycle stuff from Mountain Equipment Co-.op. Any good bike
store should have something similar.

Subject: [s-cars] parts cleaner recommendation
I need a recommendation on a smallish parts cleaner. Truth mode --
this is not for my //S car, it's for my ever growing collection of
bikes and bike parts.
I spent way too much time with a toothbrush on Sunday evening
cleaning a relatively new chain after I had soaked it in Simple
Green. By the way, a chain left in Simple Green for more than a
short while *will* corrode. Bummer. Learned that a while ago...
So I'm thinking that a small ultrasonic parts cleaner is the
ticket. That would get the schmutz out of the chain and derailleur
(pretty much the only parts that can't be easily cleaned by
hand).
Thanks!
