He knows a guy named Darren Jackson who recently rebuilt his AAN to RS2
levels and performed an
Excellent piece of work on it.  I was crazy to thing I would buy it as a
spare -really?
SO I talked to Darren although can't find his info right now.  Convinced
me I would buy if I had the cash because Scot 
Recommended it.
Anyway Scot is QSHIPQ at aol.com and runs this Audi repair shop in Chicago.
He heard it run before 
Darren had an accident, now is parting it out.
That's the best one I know of right now.

A guy in my office has a 1992 S4. He recently blew the motor (don't know
all the details) and needs and new(used but good) engine. He is not much
of an enthusiast yet. Just likes the car and would like to see it fixed.
Think he is on a bit of a budget. 

So here are the questions. 

- Anyone have one lying around?

-Best place to look?

-Other compatible models that he can get a block and head from?
