For the D2 a Stromung is a great idea.  

Here's a Supersprint I had originally bought and installed on the wifes a8.
IIRC install was a beotch.  Drove it once around the block and instantly
realized that there is no way the wife will go for this.  No way.

So, I uninstalled and resold it to Paul Waterloo who installed it on his car
although I think he 'may' have removed it recently as he is trying to sell
his car and move to a, you guessed it, '03 S8.

You can see that a second pipe would be difficult if not impossible.  Any
dual tip config I have seen has been one pipe back to the spare tire well
where it splits off to go around to the passenger side.  Looks great from
the back but all bling with prolly performance loss to boot.

Most bang for the buck (at least on the A8) is to vagcom the tranny to I
think it's euro sport mode but I forget the specifics on how to do it.  It
transforms the car to offer way better go from stop.  Maybe someone knows
how a D2 A8 get's the extra 40hp to be an S8 since it's the same motor?  

Second best mod yet to be invented and fabricated would be a HRSB.  Stock is
IIRC about 17mm mini pee pees.  Hah!  These cars are cryin for more girth.

Worst mod?

For eight or nine grand I believe mr hackster can set anyone up with one
extremely stealth motodyne supercharger.
